Tubac Golf Resort

Tucson, Arizona

The heart and soul of the Tubac Golf Resort & Spa is its 27 hole Championship Golf Course. The original 18 hole layout was designed by famed golf course architect Robert “Red” Lawrence in 1959. In 1996 many scenes from the golf-themed movie Tin Cup were filmed here. Nine new holes were added, and opened for play on September 18, 2006. Local golf course architect Ken Kavanaugh’s collection of new holes truly enhanced the pre-existing 18 hole layout of mature cottonwood trees and lush fairways with views of the Santa Rita and Tumacacori Mountains. With all of its exciting renovations and restoration, Tubac’s professional course is truly the ultimate golf vacation location in Tucson, Arizona
